Creek Volunteer Week November 24th - 30th for Wreck Clearance.

Hello all you lovely Sailors Creek members, we've got a week of wreck clearance and groundworks coming up and we would dearly love some volunteers to come and lend whatever support they can muster.

As you know we've been clearing the accumulated detritus of many years of neglect from the banks of the creek, but we've still got some way to go. This next step will help to free up some more space at the head of the creek and shift another load of waste that would otherwise be left to contaminate the river.

The plan is to bring in a digger to clear a path and then we'll be breaking up two wrecks that will need to be cleared along with some further rubbish we would love to remove.

A basic outline of the week looks something like....

Monday - Digger work clearing a path.

Tuesday - Wreck clearance.

Wednesday - Wreck clearance.

Thursday - Clearing rubbish.

Friday - Clearing rubbish.

Sat/Sun - Final clear up and tidy. (May not be necessary depending on how we get on.)
